Services for Sister M. Regina Clare Goertz CSC, 91, of Saint Mary’s Convent, who died about 2:uesday in the convent, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Church of Loretto at St. Mary’s, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St. Mary’s. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday in the convent, where a wake service will be at 7 p.m.

She was born Lillian Goertz on Dec. 1897 in Baltimore. She was received as a novice on Jan. 6, 1920 and professed her vows on Jan. 6, 1922. She is survived by a sister and several nieces and nephews. She was an elementary school teacher in schools conducted by the Congregation from 1922 to 1979, and was assigned to schools in Illinois, California, New York, Texas, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.
