Frank Joseph Goepfrich, 80, Rt. 3, Long
Lake, Three Rivers, Mich., died early today in Three Rivers Hospital,
where he had been a patient for 2 1/2 weeks. Mr. Goepfrich was
born Aug. 11, 1887, in Panhahen <Pamhagen>, Austria, coming
to the United States as a child. He attended schools in South
Bend. For many years he was an employee of Singer Manufacturing
Co., South Bend. On May 11, 1909, he married Louise E. Beck
in South Bend. She preceeded him in death. They had lived in South
Bend until 1950, when they moved to Three Rivers. Surviving are a
daughter, Mrs. Frank Strasser of West Covina, Calif.; four
sons, Francis and Edmund, both of Three Rivers, and Leo and
Raymond, both of South Bend; 16 grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren; two sisters, including Mrs. Mary Resnik
of South Bend, and a brother, Rudolph, of South Bend. Friends may
call at the Halverson Funeral Home, Three Rivers, after 1 p.m.
Sunday. The rosary will be recited there at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Immaculate Conception
Church, Three Rivers, with Rev. LeRoy White, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers.
