Mrs. Anna Goepfrich, aged 72, of 1634
Sibley avenue, died at 9:50 o'clock Sunday morning in her
residence after six weeks' illness. She was an aunt of Rev.
Frances J. Wenninger, C.S.C., head of the college of
science at the University of Notre Dame. Born in Austria, Dec 25,
1861, she came here 47 years ago . Surviving are five sons,
Frank, George, Joseph, Rudolph and Anthony Goepfrich, and four
daughters, Mrs. George Resnick, Mrs. Elton P. Crepeau,
Miss Rose Goepfrich and Miss Madeline Goepfrich, all of
this city. The body will lie in the residence and the funeral
will take place from St. Mary's Roman Catholic church. The
requiem mass will be sung by Rev. Father Wenninger, and
internment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Note: Anna Goepfrich was born in Pamhagen,
Austria to Thomas Muth and Rosalia Koppi.
