Mary J. Gleissner

Mrs. Mary J. Gleissner, 75, formerly of 822 Lincoln Way W. died Tuesday in Beatty Memorial Hospital, Westville, following a long illness.

Mrs. Gleissner came to Mishawaka 56 years ago from County Cork, Ireland, where she was born. As Mary J. Simshauer she married Joseph Gleissner several years ago and he died in 1950.

Mrs. Gleissner had been employed by the Greenblatt Fur Co., South Bend for 35 years prior to her retirement.

Friends may call in the Hollis Funeral Chapel, South Bend, after 7 p.m. today and until the funeral services at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Church.  Very Rev. Msgr. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Editor: She was previously married to Russell Miller, who died before her marriage to Joseph Gleissner on July 18, 1923 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka.
