Sister Placida CSC, died early this morning in St. Mary’s Convent after two days illness with pneumonia. She was 78 years old and came to this coiuntry from Ireland. She has been at St. Mary’s since 1874.

Services will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
