SOUTH BEND - Carolyn Parr-Niblick-Glastra, 69, of South
Bend, passed away in her home on Friday, May 11. Carolyn was born
on December 14, 1937, in Mishawaka, as the daughter of Raymond Parr
and Christine Klaer. She was preceded in death by her
parents.
On July 7, 1978, in South Bend, she married Tom Glastra. Surviving Carolyn are her husband, Tom; a daughter, Penelope (Michael) Linner of South Bend; twin sons, Shawn Niblick of Key West, FL, and Eric Niblick of South Bend; three grandchildren, Joshua and Ashley Linner, and Charissa Heeter; three great-grandchildren, Tanner and Brianna Linner, and Lily Heeter; and four sisters, Christine (Roy) Cripe of Osceola, Sally Smith of Salt Lake City, UT, Kate Holmes of Redwood City, CA, and Judy (Jerry) Crowe of Mishawaka.
Carolyn was a court liaison of the South Bend Police Department for 25 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Clay Democratic Club in South Bend.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, in St. Monica Catholic Church, with Rev. Henry Mudigan officiating.
