Frances Marie Glassburn

Frances Marie Glassburn, 74, of Dittman Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 5:05 a.m. on Sunday, April 4, at St. Joseph Community Hospital in Mishawaka. Frances was born on Nov. 10, 1924, in Mishawaka, to Albert and Cora (Blanchard) Collins, who both preceded her in death. She worked from 1945 to 1985 for Uniroyal.

Frances leaves to cherish her memories her son, Bill Glassburn of South Bend, Ind.; four daughters, Sherry Glassburn of Mishawaka, Mary Doiron of Wakarusa, Ind., Ann Glassburn of Elkhart, Ind., and Penny Puzynski of Mishawaka; a brother, Albert Collins of South Bend; a sister, Edna Benjamin of South Bend; and eight grandchildren, Tracy Glassburn, Kim Hepburn, Shawn Glassburn, Adam Doiron, Bryana Dibble, Robert Glassburn, Nikita Glassburn and Frank Puzynski; and by two great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 7, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Pastor David Stauffer of the New Life Baptist Church in Osceola, Ind., will be officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
