Hope Carmina Gizzi, 17, of East Eckman Street, South Bend, was taken from this world at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, March 3, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
Hope was born on Nov. 9, 1987, to Laura Lynn Gizzi, who preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1987.
She is survived by her very loving grandparents, who devoted their lives the past 17 years to raising her, Emilio "Guy" and Linda Gizzi of South Bend; an aunt, Beth (Keith) Fulks of Mishawaka; and an uncle, Tim (Peggy) Gizzi of South Bend; and six cousins.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 6 p.m. where a Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 6th, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 7th, in St. Matthew Cathedral, South Bend, with Rev Michael Heintz officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
