SOUTH BEND - Robert A. Gish, 71, of West Ewing Avenue, died at 8:10 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Gish retired in 1986 from Davidson Inc., Mishawaka. He was born Feb. 7, 1924, in South Bend.

On May 9, 1953, in South Bend, he married Maxine Greenburg. She survives with two nieces and two nephews. He was a member of Moose Lodge 58 and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 36.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Zahoran Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or any charity.
