SOUTH BEND – Clarence C. Ginther, 91, of Parkview Place, died Saturday afternoon in his home. Mr. Ginther retired in 1969 from Associates Investment Corp. as fleet manager after 36 years of service.
He was born February 27, 1904, in Leiters Ford and was a lifelong area resident. On September 26, 1923, in South Bend, he married Emma E. Foegley. She died January 24, 1991.
He is survived by two sisters, Margaret Freund of South Bend and Alice Blimling of Lakeville; and several nieces and nephew.
He was a member of the Mizpah Class of First United Methodist Church and Associates Association and was a volunteer at the Budget Corner.
Services will be at 10am Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
