Edmund A. Ginter, 83, of Rt. 1, North
Liberty, died Wednesday in his residence after a two week
illness. He was a retired farmer. Born October 12,
1887 in South Bend. He had lived in North Liberty 19 years
coming from New Carlisle. In addition to his widow,
Bernice, whom he married in 1911 in New Carlisle, he is survived
by a son, Donald M., New Carlisle; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd
Thomas, Walkerton and Mrs. Philip Hay, South Bend; seven
grandchildren; one great grandchildren and a brother, Frank J.
Ginter of Rolla, Mo. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today
and from 2 to 9 Friday at the H. C. Amen & Son Funeral Home,
New Carlisle, where services will be at 1:35 pm Saturday. Burial
will be in the New Carlisle Cemetery. Mr. Ginter was a
ember of Terre Coupe Lodge 204, F&AM. Memorial services
will be held by the lodge at 7:30 pm Friday in the funeral home.
