SOUTH BEND - Beverly Ann Mester Gilvin, 56, formerly of South Bend, passed away peacefully in her home in Greer, SC, and entered into eternity with her Lord and Saviour on July 6, 2010. Born June 9, 1954, in South Bend, she was the youngest of three children born to Martha Nygren Mester and the late John Mester. She was a wonderful homemaker, taking pride in her family and her home, and she was a member of Trinity Bible Church. She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Calvin (Cal) William Gilvin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Adam and Katie Gilvin of Greer and Jeremy and Sarah Gilvin of Greer; a daughter and son-in-law, Elisabeth and Casey Dorff of Greer; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Suzy Mester of Mishawaka; a sister and brother-in-law, Karin and Harvey Hatfield of South Bend; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday in Trinity Bible Church in SC, conducted by Dr. Greg Mazak. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday in The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home. Memorials may be made to Trinity Bible Church, 205 N.
