Mrs. Paul E. Gill
Mrs. Esther B. Gill, 61, of 804 Woodcliff Drive,
South Bend, died at 2:15 a.m. today in Osteopathic Hospital, South Bend. She
had been a patient there for two weeks and had been in failing health for
several years. Born on Oct. 26, 1914, in Battleground, Ind. In Niles, as
Esther Woodruff, she married Paul E. Gill, who survives. Also surviving are two
daughters, Mrs. Robert J. Leach of Winter Park, Fla., and Mrs. James M. Morris
of Osceola; two sons, Robert E. and Charles J., both of Mishawaka; seven
grandchildren four great-grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Robert Basham of North
Liberty, and seven brothers, Charles Woodruff of Lydick, Kenneth Woodruff of
North Liberty and John, Robert, Leonard, Leroy and William Woodruff, all of
Mishawaka.
Friends may call Bubb Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
GILL - Services from Mrs. Esther B. Gill,
61, of 804 Woodcliff Dr. South Bend, who died Monday, will be at 1 p.m.
Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today
and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Clifford Quartz of St. Mark's
Missionary Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
