MISHAWAKA - Darlene Gill, 56, passed away Sunday. She is survived by her husband, Dwayne; five children, Roxanne Woods, David Gill, Michael Yeakey, Crystal Stremme and Melissa Woods. She is also survived by five siblings, Randy and Jeff Stalcup, Jean Gill, Ronnie and Lynn Cleveland. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 29, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Darlene Gill, 56, of Mishawaka, passed away Sunday April 24, 2011, at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Darlene was born on December 17, 1954 in Mishawaka, IN to the late Robert and Chlotene (Bone) Stalcup. On April 27, 1985 she married Dwayne Gill of Mishawaka who survives along with their children; Roxanne (Grady) Woods, of Mishawaka, David Gill, of Mishawaka, Michael (Shannon) Yeakey, of Mishawaka, Crystal (Bobby) Stremme, of South Bend, Melissa (Corey) Woods, of South Bend. Darlene also has five surviving siblings, Randy (Jan) Stalcup, of Mishawaka, Jeff (Cheri) Stalcup, of Mishawaka, Jean (David) Gill, of Mishawaka, Ronnie (Donna) Cleveland, of South Bend, Lynn (Linda) Cleveland, of South Bend and fourteen grandchildren. Darlene was preceded in death by a son, Jason Michael Yeakey who passed away in 1976.

Darlene loved to watch stock car racing, and her favorite NASCAR racer was David Stremme. Darlene enjoyed the Blue Grass Festivals, playing bingo, and spending time with her family.

Visitation for Darlene will be held on Thursday April 28, 2011 from 5-8 pm in the Bubb Funeral Chapel 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. A funeral service will be held on Friday April 29, 2011 in the funeral home at 10 am. Burial will follow in Chapel Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray the cost of the funeral.
