Betty L. Gill

Betty L. Gill, 61, of 917 Burdette, died at 5:20 a.m. Saturday in Greenspring Manor. In 1985, Mrs. Gill retired as an ironer in the laundry department at the University of Notre Dame following 10 years of service. She was born April 30, 1927, in New Carlisle and lived in Mishawaka for 40 years, coming from New Carlisle. On April 28, 1983, As Betty L. Sutton, she married Lonnie Gill. He survives with two stepdaughters, Norma J. Mezykowski and Debra Riffle of South Bend; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A sister, Lela B. Heckathorn, died Dec. 14, 1987.

   Service will b e at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 202 N. Main. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
