John F. Giede, 32 years old, 1233 East Minor
Street, died today at 3 AM at St. Joseph's hospital, following a
two weeks illness of pneumonia. He is survived by his wife,
Collett Giede, a son William, his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Giede,
all of South Bend; a brother, Corporal Gust Giede, of Camp
Devens, Massachusetts, and two sisters, Mrs. William Freeh, of
this city, and Mrs. Harold Maybaum of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mr.
Giede was born in this city July 1, 1886. He was department
manager of the Quality Clothes Shop. He was married April
21, 1908, to Collett Adelsperger.

Funeral services for John F. Giede, 1233
East minor Street, will be held Thursday at 9 AM at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church, Rev. P. J. Carroll, CS C., officiating. Burial
will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
