Anthony Giardino

Anthony Giardino, 78, of 1820 S. William Street, died at 1 p.m. in his residence after an illness of nine months. He was born in Italy July 22, 1870, and came here 38 years ago.

Surviving are two sons, Frank and Arthur; a daughter, Mrs. Theresa Marandino, and six grandchildren, all of South Bend; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Difiori, of New York City.

Friends mat call in the Zahoran Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Saturday. He was a member of the Christopher Columbus Society.
