MISHAWAKA - Ioli ''Irene'' Gianesi, 90, of West 10th Street, died at 6:16 a.m. today in St. Joseph Community Hospital.

Mrs. Gianesi retired in 1964 as the owner of Gianesi's Dry Goods Store. She was born Aug. 30, 1905, in Macerone, Italy, and lived in Mishawaka since 1939.

On Jan. 5, 1939, in Mishawaka, as Irene Pasini, she married Giuseppe Gianesi. He died May 24, 1977. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Cindy Urbin of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Angela K. Gianesi and Tony J. Gianesi, both of Mishawaka. A son, Ugo A., died Oct. 29, 1985.

She was a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in Hahn Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 3 p.m.
