Rapheal Giacomini
Oct. 5, 1912 - March 31, 2001
Rapheal "Ray" Giacomini, 88, of South Wells Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 10:20 p.m. on Saturday, March 31st, in Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, Ind.
Mr. Giacomini was born on Oct. 5, 1912, in Sann Ircangelo, Italy, as the son of the late Ugo and Adeline (Alessi) Giacomini. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Anita Ransberger in 1994. On April 15, 1939, in South Bend, Ind., he married the former Anna Desich, who preceded him in death on Nov. 20, 1996.
Mr. Giacomini is survived two sisters, Julia Bupp and Delores Verbeke, both of Mishawaka; and by a brother, Gerino Giacomini, also of Mishawaka.
Mr. Giacomini was employed by the former Uniroyal, Mishawaka, for 32 years and retired in 1974. He was a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 6th, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 West 8th Street, Mishawaka, where wake prayers will be said at 3:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 7th, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
