MISHAWAKA - Anna Giacomini, 87, of Wells Street, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Community Hospital in Mishawaka.
Mrs. Giacomini was born on Feb. 4, 1909, in Doniphin, Mo., and was an area resident since 1925. On Apil 15, 1939, in South Bend, as Anna Desich, she married Rapheal ''Ray'' Giacomini.
Mrs. Giacomini is survived by her husband; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dolores and Alfred Verbeke, Guerino and Frances Giacomini, Julia Bupp and Everett Ransberger, all of Mishawaka; and 35 nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Giacomini was preceded in death by four sisters, four brothers, and one niece.
She was a past employee of the former Wilson Brothers Shirt Company of South Bend. Mrs. Giacomini was a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church of Mishawaka.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. James Shafer officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, with Wake Prayers at 3:30 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka.
