Mrs. Sarah Geyer.
Mrs.
Sarah Geyer, age 84, life long resident of St. Joseph county died at Pocatello,
Idaho, at 9:45 o'clock Sunday night following a short illness with infirmities
of age. She was born in Buffalo, N. Y., Nov. 22, 1838 and had lived in
St. Joseph county nearly all her life. She is survived by her husband,
Jacob Geyer; two daughtres, Mrs. I. N. Fluckey, Lakeville, Ind., Mrs. S. B.
Downing, Michigan; one son, Mark Geyer. Pocatello, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. C.
L. Cooper, Dayton, O., Mrs. Laura Slayman, Kansas; one brother, Cyrus Harris,
Chicago; 11 grand children and five great grandchildren. She was married
to Jacob Harris in Plymouth , Ind., in November 1860. The body will be
taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. I. N. Fluckey, Lakeville, where funeral
services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Rev. Clinton Polen,
pastor of Lakeville Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. Burial will
be in Palmer's Prairie cemetery.
