Donald Jay Geyer, formerly of 22622 Adams Rd., died in Community Hospital, Bremen, at 1:30 p.m. Friday. He had been ill for about three months. A terminal manager here for Mercury Motorways, he had moved from South Bend to Woodland earlier this year. He was born in Madison Twp. March 13, 1924, and was a lifetime resident of this area.

He married Gertrude Forsberg Sept. 4, 1949, She survives. Other survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Geyer, Woodland, a daughter and a son, Margaret Ann and Kevin, both at home; three brothers, Keither of Woodland, Theodore of South Bend, and Roscoe of Indianapolis; and a sister, Mrs. Rex Allen of South Bend.

Friends may call in the Weisheimer Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Services will be in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. Lynn Henry, pastor of the First Evangelical United Brethern Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens. Mr. Geyer was a member of the Transportation Club and was a World War II veteran.
