Henry Getz

July 2, 1922 – March 20, 1974

Henry (Buss) Getz, 51, of 61665 Miami Road, president of Henry Getz & Associates, died at 8:40 pm Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after a five month illness.

Born July 2, 1922, in Bremen, where he had lived all his life.  On November 13, 1957, in Nevada, he married Jane Dorkey, who survives.  Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Violet McKee of Bremen, a brother, Stanley O. Getz, and a half brother, Rue Dee Marker, both of Bremen.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to9pm Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.,

Getz was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lodge 294, R & AM, the Indiana Club, the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks and the Fraternal Order of Police.

He attended Purdue University and was a member of the Purdue Alumni Assn. Memorial contributions may be made to the St Joseph County Cancer Society.
