MISHAWAKA - Domenic Germano, 60, of 210 E. Mishawaka Avenue, died Saturday afternoon in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, a few hours after admittance. He was born Feb. 8, 1909 in Plati, Italy and lived here for 40 years coming from Plati.

He married Rose L. Gainsgrasso Feb. 26, 1933 in South Bend. She survives along with his mother Nancy Germano of Plati; one daughter, Mrs Richard Coquiullard of South Bend; four grandchildren; two brothers, Fran of Mishawaka and Joseph of South Bend. He owned and operated the American Shoe Repair in Mishawaka for 40 years. He was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church and the Diroreto Society of Mishawaka.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Monica’s Catholic Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
