MISHAWAKA - Anthony Germano, 82, of 1105 N. Division Street, died early this morning in his home. He had been ill for the past year. Born in Plati, Reggio, Calabria, Italy on Sept 3, 1878 he came to Mishawaka from Italy in 1927. He married Nunziata Sergi in Italy in 1903. He was employed by the city street department until his retirement in 1955. Surviving besides his widow are three sons, Frank, Dominic and Joseph, all of Mishawaka; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A daughter, Miss Mary Germano died on July 1, 1950.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Monica’s Catholic Church and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
