SOUTH BEND - Stanley W. Geabler, 84, of Crumstown Highway, died at 4:44 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Geabler retired in 1977 from Bendix Corp. He was born Dec. 13, 1910, in South Bend.

On Jan. 7, 1933, in South Bend, he married Violet Sumpter. She survives with a daughter, Arlene Schafer of Bremen; and two grandchildren. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 294, Avalon Grotto, York Rite and Bendix Retirees Club.

Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where services are pending. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
