SOUTH BEND - Judith A. Gaudreau, 70, passed away at 9:50 a.m. on
Saturday, May 22, 2010, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical
Center, South Bend. She was born on May 3, 1940, in Columbus, OH,
to the late William and Eugenia (Emmett) Hysell. She had lived
most of her life in Mishawaka, Elkhart, Middlebury and South
Bend. Ms. Gaudreau attended the Episcopal Cathedral of St. James,
South Bend. She retired from McDonald's Restaurant in Middlebury
as a manager. Ms. Gaudreau is survived by her eight children,
Anthony Ambrose of Oklahoma, David (Lori Haney) Ambrose of
Goshen, Steve (Tammy) Ambrose of Bristol, Scott (Jessica) Ambrose
of South Bend, Laura Ambrose of Elkhart, Jill (John Duggan)
(Moore) Gaudreau of New Paris, Wendy Gaudreau of Elkhart and
Andrea (Jeff) Bussard of Elkhart; 12 grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren; and one brother, James (Amy) Hysell of Mesa,
AZ. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. today, May 25th,
2010, in the Episcopal Cathedral of St. James, 117 N. Lafayette
Blvd., South Bend, IN. The Very Reverend Brian Grantz will
officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
today in the church. Interment will follow services in the church
columbarium. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, is assisting the
family. Contributions in memory of Judith A. Gaudreau may be made
to the Ronald McDonald Room at Memorial Hospital, 615 N. Michigan
Street, South Bend, IN 46601; or to St. Margaret's House, 117 N.
Lafayette Blvd., South Bend, IN 46601. She enjoyed volunteering
at both entities. She was an avid South Bend Silver Hawks and
