Elizabeth Gatti

Mishawaka Mrs. Elizabeth Gatti, 80,
of 316 ½ Spring Street, who had been in ill health for the last
two years, was dead on arrival at St. Joseph Hospital at 3:30
a.m. today. She was taken to the hospital in the city ambulance.
Mrs. Gatti was born in Italy and came to Mishawaka from that
country in 1887.
She married Harry Gatti in St. Joseph
Catholic Church, here in 1907. He died 30 years ago. Surviving
are a sister, Mrs. Katherine Foerter, of New Brunswick, N.J., and
a brother, Matthew Ferrettie, of this city.
The body is in the Thallemer-Goethals Chapel
where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Funeral Services will
take place at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Very
Rev. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St.
Joseph Cemetery. Mrs. Gatti was a member of the Legion of Mary.
Pallbearers will be Telesforo Ferrettie,
Eustachio Ferrettie, Frank Spalazzi, Joseph Vernasco, John Pighi,
and Joseph Michele.
