Oct. 3, 1964 - June 22, 2010SOUTH BEND - Scott Edwin Gardner, 45, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010, in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Scott was born October 3, 1964, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Guy E. Jr. and Arlene (Scott) Gardner. Scott retired as a superintendent from Mid-West Electric. On May 25, 1991, Scott married Karen McCuaig, who survives. Surviving with his wife Karen are his daughter, Kelleigh Gardner, and son, Bryar Gardner, both at home; his father, Guy E Gardner Jr. of South Bend, Indiana; and a sister, Penny (Ken) Chapo of New Carlisle, Indiana. Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Gardner, in October 2008. Scott was a member of I.B.E.W. Local Union 1393, Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana, where friends may visit from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Hamilton Cemetery, New Carlisle, Indiana.
