Franklin E. Gardner, age 64, resident of Mishawaka for the last 34 years, died at 10:30 o'clock Thursday night in his home, 410 West Lawrence street. Death resulted from a stroke of paralysis suffered three years ago.

He was born Sept. 21, 1868, in Edwardsburg, Mich., and was married in Mishawaka, May 11, 1892, to Miss Dessie Eberhart, who survives. In addition to his wife, he leaves one son, Harold Gardner of Mishawaka, and a brother, Fred Gardner, also of Mishawaka.

The body may be viewed in the residence from Saturday evening until the hour of funeral services, which will be announced later.
