MISHAWAKA – Mrs. Sadie Ganss, aged 70, aged 70, of 307 W. Ninth Street, died at 5 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital following a month’s illness. Death was attributed to complications brought on by illness. Mrs. Ganss had been a resident of Mishawaka for the past 50 years, coming from Baden, Germany where she was born Oct. 17, 1879.

As Sadie Bath she married to Alfred Ganss in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Mr. Gans died nine-months ago. Surviving are one son, Alfred Ganss Jr. of South Bend; three daughters, Mrs. Alex Baldoni and Mrs. Peter Pastorino of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Stanley Steele of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Edward Honold of Mishawaka and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence after 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Curt Suetzer, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
