Helen M. Galipo
MISHAWAKA - Helen M. Galipo, 72, of
Mishawaka, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007, in
the Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation, South Bend. Helen was
born on April 9, 1934, in East Liverpool, OH, to the late Raymond
and Sylvia (Wright) Clark Sr. She was preceded in
death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond Clark Jr. and Charles
Clark Sr.; and four sisters, Evelyn Malloy, Louise Behne,
Bernice Nielson and Virginia Hampson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Basil of Mishawaka; one
daughter, Becky Ronconi-McCutcheon and her husband,
Wayne McCutcheon; three grandchildren, Joseph Ronconi, Katie
Ronconi and Chad McCutcheon; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Helen graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1952. On
November 25, 1972, as the former Helen Clark, she married Basil
Galipo in East Liverpool, OH. She worked for Hall China Pottery
in East Liverpool for 20 years, then she worked 1st Source
Bank-McKinley Branch for 16 years before retiring in 1998. She
was a member of the Newcomer's Club.
Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday,
January 26, 2007, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley
Highway, Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, January 27, 2007, in the funeral home, with burial to
follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial
donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Northern
Indiana Chapter, 108 North Main Street, Suite 707, South Bend, IN
