19, 1922 - Nov. 29, 2009SOUTH BEND - Felicia A. Galassi, 87, died Sunday, November 29th, in South Bend. She was born on February 19, 1922, in Utica, NY, to Massimo and Josephine (Dellechiai) Vellucci. She was preceded in death by her parents. On September 23, 1939, she married George J. Galassi, who preceded her in death on January 29, 1986. Surviving are two daughters, Jeanette Galassi of Mishawaka and Sheryl Stewart of St. Petersburg, FL; two grandchildren, Christopher and David Stewart; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Vera Dudeck of South Bend; two brothers, Albert Vellucci of South Bend and Vincent Vellucci of Hawaii. Felicia was retired from the Bendix (Honeywell) Aeronautics Division where she was a secretary. She was a member of DeAmici's Ladies Auxiliary, the Elks Ladies Auxiliary, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moose Lodge and Erskine Ladies Golf League. Visitation will be today, Tuesday, December 1st, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, where services will be held at 4 p.m., with Rev. Terry Fisher officiating.
