SOUTH BEND - Dorothy C. Gabor, 72, of Cole Court, Michigan City, formerly of South Bend, died at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Gabor retired in 1985 from Joy Manufacturing Co., Michigan City, as a secretary after 22 years of service. She was born Sept. 27, 1923, in South Bend.

On June 1, 1946, in South Bend, as Dorothy C. Kruggel, she married George F. Gabor. He survives with two daughters, Pamela S. Wagner of Granger and Vicky A. Whittaker of South Bend; a son, George P. of Zionsville, Ind.; seven grandchildren; a sister, Helen Henselin of South Bend; and a brother, Herman Kruggel of Vandalia. She was a member of New Apostolic Church, Mishawaka.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
