Hi Mom, it's me, Vicki,
I just wanted to let you know that the
very best in all of us can be traced back to you. To honor you,
we promise to turn our tears of sadness into those of absolute
joy knowing by the grace of God you have regained your vision to
see and the strength you lost to run back into the awaiting arms
of your family and friends and the man you adore, our Dad. We
will strive to remember to seek out the goodness in people, to be
grateful for the smallest of all we have and that love and
forgiveness are the greatest gifts we have to offer, even to
those who seem unwilling to accept them. We hope by now you've
been reassured by the highest authority that when you're holding
both bowers and the ace, it's really okay to tell your partner to
stay at home. Get some rest in between the games you've missed
and the tons of books and crosswords you could no longer see to
read. And don't worry about us, Mom. We'll see you everyday in
the smiles of our very own reflections.
Love, the kids.
