Albert E. Gabaree, Jr.

March 8, 1928 – December 6, 1998

Mr. Albert E. Gabaree, Jr., 70, of South Bend, Ind., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 6, in his residence.

He was born on March 8, 1928, in Montpelier, Vt., to Albert E. and Helen (Powell) Gabaree, Sr., both of whom are deceased.

He is survived by four daughters, Ronna Sarvari of Mishawaka, Ind., Deborah Gabaree of Peru, Ind., and Sharon and Sheila Gabaree, both of Vermont; and three sons, Terry, Clint and Albert, III, all of South Bend; nine grandchildren; and by sisters and brothers.

Albert retired from the Painters Local #1118 after 25 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and belonged to American Legion Post #284. He was district administrator for District 11 of the Little League, was president of the Umpire's Association, was a little league umpire for the Little League World Series, and was a brother in Local #1118.
