Ella P. Fuzy (April 17, 1904 - Dec. 13, 2002)

Ella P. Fuzy, 98, of South Bend, Ind., passed away at 5:24 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, in Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

Ella was born on April 17, 1904, in Hungary, to Paul and Mary (Becze) Peto, who preceded her in death. After the passing of her first husband, Andrew Luchko in 1953, Ella married Joseph Fuzy in 1954, who preceded her in death in 1980. Ella was also preceded in death by a daughter, Irene Zalejski, and by two brothers and two sisters.

Ella is survived by her daughter, Ella E. (Richard) Nemes of South Bend; five grandchildren, Richard Heidrich, Randall Heidrich, Rebecca Burkart, Deborah Ripsco and Janet Ripsco; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Borsh of South Bend.

Private services will be held in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, with private burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Bend.

SOUTH BEND — Ella P. Fuzy, 98, of St. Joseph Care Center, died Friday in Memorial Hospital. Survivors include a daughter, Ella E. Nemes of South Bend; and a sister, Mary Borsh of South Bend. Private family services will be held. There will be no visitation. St. Joseph Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
