SOUTH BEND - Roy Arthur Fuson, 60, was born in South Bend,
Indiana and was the son of Wilma Story Fuson of Cassopolis, MI,
and the late Willie Arthur Fuson. He was also preceded in death
by a brother, Ray Fuson and two infant siblings. Surviving in
addition to his mother are his beloved wife of 25 years, Sherri
Mitschelen Fuson of the home; children, Roy A. Fuson Jr. of Rocky
Point, Michael Fuson (Mindy) of Niles, Michigan, and Jared Fuson
(Donnelle) of Elkhart, Indiana; grandchildren, Derek Fuson,
Kimberly Fuson, Erin Fuson, Ashley Fuson, Adam Fuson, Ryan Fuson,
Sarah Bonilla and Cassandra Cruz; several great-grandchildren;
and sisters, Mary Ellen Schutze (Ken) of Michigan, Ruth Hickey of
Florida and Lois Owen (Dan) of Michigan, and several nieces and
nephews. Roy served his country honorably in the US Army and
fought for his country in the Vietnam Era. He attended Long Creek
Baptist Church. Roy was a devoted husband and loved his family
dearly. He loved life and lived it to the fullest, always seeing
the jovial side of every situation. With his witty personality he
lifted everyone's spirits. Roy was a very caring man and always
put others before himself. Helping others was a way of life for
Roy. Cherished memories will forever remain in out hearts.
