Irma Jean Fultz, 58, loving mother,
daughter, sister, grandmother, niece and friend of the Ironwood
Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, Ind., passed away
on Saturday, Aug. 26. On July 7, 1942, in Clarksdale, Miss., she
was born to Homer C. Wise and Christine Fultz-Howard.
Ms Fultz graduated from Central High School, and was a former
employee of Uniroyal and South Bend Lathe. She was a member of
Albright United Methodist Church.
Irma leaves to cherish her loving memories
her mother, Christine Fultz-Howard; and a special aunt, Myrtha
Fultz; four daughters, Denise Fultz, Kimberly Harris,
Arletha Gilmore, all of South Bend, and Adele Alexander
of Atlanta, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Kim Lottie; two sons,
Lester Martin Jr. and Joe Willie Harris, all of
South Bend; three sisters, Willa Howard, Luberta Howard and
Cynthia Howard, all of South Bend; one brother, Richard Howard;
two stepbrothers, Lucius Hudson and Herman Hudson, all of South
Bend; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two aunts;
one uncle; special friends, Linda Klein, Gloria Avance, Nila
Wise, Debra Joy, Jonelle Williams and Dora Pinky Horton; and a
host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by
an uncle, John C. Fultz; a daughter, Shaunte Harris; a
grandchild, Dominique Hurmon; a brother, Bearlie Howard; a
sister, Queen Porter; and by a nephew, Alvin Carter.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday in Alford's Mortuary Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
