Mary Ellen Fullmer, 68, of South Bend, Ind., passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2005, in her home, surrounded by family. Mary was born June 9, 1937, in Newberry, Mich., to the late George and Berneda Clearwater.

On May 26, 1956, she married Martin Fullmer, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Martin C. (Gale) Fullmer, of Osceola, Ind., Gregory G. of South Bend, and Mark S. (Melanie) of Walkerton, Ind.; two sisters, June (Glenn) Goshern, and Dixie Ennis, both of Kokomo, Ind.; and three brothers, Carl of Kokomo, Eugene of Arkansas, and Kenny (Joyce) Clearwater, of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kevin A. Fullmer; three sisters, Donna, Sandy Jewell, and Alice; and by two brothers, George and Norwood Clearwater.

A private visitation and funeral service will be held Saturday. Memorial Contributions may be made to The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
