Willard M. Frye

September 8, 1895 – April 27, 1982

Willard M. Frye, 86, of 1205 E. Bronson, died at 9:20am Tuesday in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.  In 1962, he retired from Studebaker Corp.

He was born on September 8, 1895, in Fulton County, and has been a lifetime area resident.  ON December 21, 1929, he married Alma Wring, who died in 1973.  Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ada Alleman of Mishawaka and two brothers, Raymond and Alton, both of South Bend,

Services will be at 11am Friday in the Sunnyside Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Haven C. Kelley Jr, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. 

Friends may call form 1 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Thursday in the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave.  He was a member of the church and Barracks 829 and he was a WW I US Army veteran.
