Funeral services for Sister Joseph Mary CSC, 44, who died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend, were held in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at St. Mary’s today. Burial was in the community cemetery.

She was born Catherine Marie Friel July 5, 1904 in Chicago. She had been a teacher at St. Joseph Academy here, and a teacher and superior in the parochial school in Anderson, Ind.
