SOUTH BEND - Margaret V. Fribley, 92, of Tanglewood Lane,
formerly of South Bend, passed away Friday, November 28th at her
home. She was born January 18, 1916 in Culver, Indiana to
Benjamin and Alice (Green) Mansfield who preceded
her in death. Also preceding her in death was a son, Larry
Fribley Sr. of South Bend and three sisters, Helen Senter,
Martha Zamboni and Juanita Zamboni along with a brother,
Richard Mansfield. On July 24, 1937, in Goshen, Indiana, she
married Glenn Fribley. He died December 17th, 2000. She is
survived by her daughter, Barbara Sempert of South Bend
and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Fribley, also of South Bend.
Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive
with a sister Betty Conley of Landrum, South Carolina.
Mrs. Fribley was a former member of Ridgedale Presbyterian
Church, South Bend and a member of Sunnyside Presbyterian Church.
She was a member of the Ambassadors Club. She enjoyed playing
bingo and loved her family very much.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fribley will be held at noon Tuesday at Bubb Funeral Chapel ,where friends will be received from 10:00 am until the time of the services on Tuesday. Entombment will follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Breast Cancer Association.
