Glenn M. Fribley, 87, of Rue Bossuet
in South Bend, Ind., died at 7:02 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17th, in
Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Glenn was born in Elkhart,
Ind., on Dec. 10, 1913, and had lived in this area all of his
life. Mr. Fribley was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and
Maude (Miller) Fribley; his sister, Lois Fribley on May 1,
1998; and by two brothers, Wayne and Gordon Fribley. He was a
truck driver for the Inlander Steiner Paper Company where he
retired, and had formerly worked for Bursley Grocery Wholesale.
Glenn belonged to the Teamsters Union Local #364, and was a
member of the Ridgedale Presbyterian Church. He married the
former Margaret V. Mansfield on July 24, 1937, in Goshen,
Ind. She survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Barbara Sempert
of Ludington, Mich.; a son, Larry (Elizabeth) Fribley Sr. of
South Bend; five grandchildren, Renee Gatchell, Larry
Fribley Jr., Kenneth Miller, Cheryl Miller and Brian Stokes;
and by three great- grandchildren, Chad Miller, Cara Miller and
Cody Gatchell.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of
services at 2 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main
Street, Mishawaka. Entombment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
