Mrs. Stella Freeman, 81, of South Bend, Ind., passed away following an illness on Sunday morning, Nov. 14, in Hospice House of St. Joseph County, South Bend. She was born on May 1, 1918, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Joseph and Jenny (Suligoj) Krainz.

She is survived by her husband, Oliver Freeman, who she married in 1947 in Chicago, Ill. Mrs. Freeman retired as office manager of an architectural firm in South Bend.

There will be no visitation and cremation will take place. Burial will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery, Greenfield, Wis. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637. The Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of family arrangements.
