SOUTH BEND - Robert M. Frash, 83, of Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, died at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday in the nursing center. Mr. Frash retired as personnel director of several New York City and California companies. He was born March 20, 1913, in South Bend. He is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Jones of South Bend; a niece, Mary Kathleen Roberts of South Bend; and two nephews, Patrick F. Jones of Yucca Valley, Calif., and Daniel R. Jones of South Bend. He attended DePauw University, Greencastle, Ind., and was a graduate of Yale University and the University of Illinois. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and a POW during World War II in the Battle of the Bulge.

 

Graveside services and burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Riverview Cemetery. Cremation will take place. There will be no visitation. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
