Warren L. Fox, 83, of West Ninth Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at 4:55 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, in his residence.
Mr. Fox was born on Aug. 30, 1915, in Osceola, Ind., as the son of the late Martin and Jennie (Wordinger) Fox.
On Aug. 31, 1940, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, he married Henrietta Bokhart, who survives.
He is also survived by two daughters, Anne Fox of Mishawaka and Ellen (Tom) Ostrowski of Mishawaka; a son, James Fox of Elkhart, Ind.; two grandchildren, Jerry Fox of Chicago, Ill., and Tammy Braunsdorf of South Bend, Ind.; and by two great-grandchildren, Kaley Braunsdorf and Keegan Braunsdorf.
Mr. Fox was employed by Dodge Reliance for 43 years before retiring in 1978.
Mr. Fox was a World War II Navy veteran, was a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360 in Mishawaka.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8th, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. James Shafer officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Mishawaka.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7th, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. Eighth Street, Mishawaka. A wake prayer service will be at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
