WALTER N. FOX DIES AT AGE 64
Six Months Illness Fatal to Employee of
School City
Walter N. Fox, 64,
of 313 S. Union St., a lifetime resident of this vicinity, died
at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital. He had been
ill for the last six months.
Fox was born in
Madison Township. On July 27, 1916, he married Hilda
Kiefer, who survives. He was employed by the Mishawaka
School City for several years.
Surviving besides
his widow are five sons, Robert W., and Kenneth H. Fox of South
Bend, Norris A. Fox, of Stoughton, Wis., Richard L. Fox at home
and Pfc. Marvin P. Fox of the Marine Corps. at Camp LeJeune,
N.C.; two daughters, Mrs. George Gray and Mrs. Edward Kuszmaul,
of South Bend; 11 grandchildren; one brother George A. Fox of
South Bend, and one sister, Mrs. Ralph Wordinger, of North
Liberty.
Fox was a member of
St. Andrew's Evangelical and Reformed Church. Friends may
call at the Bubb Chapel after 7 p.m. today and until 11:30 a.m.
Saturday when the body will be taken to St. Andrew's
Church. Friends may call there from 1 p.m. Saturday until
the funeral at 2 o'clock. Rev. Donald T. Calvert, pastor,
will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial
Gardens.

FOX - Funeral services for Walter N. Fox,
64, of 213 S. Union St., who died Wednesday, will take place at 2
p.m. Saturday in St. Andrew's Evangelical and Reformed
Church. Rev. Donald T. Calvert, pastor, will officiate and
burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may
call at Bubb Chapel until 11:30 a.m. Saturday and at the church
from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour. Pallbearers will be
Melvin H. Hesch, Edward F. Hahn, Menne Martin, Albert J. Bendit,
Dale F. Chandonia and Edward A. Steffans.
