    Mrs. Mary Catherine Fox of Wyatt, 85 years old, died Thursday afternoon, March 1, in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, after an illness of four weeks.

    Mrs. Fox was born October 9, 1876, in Madison township, St. Joseph county, the daughter of Daniel and Margaret Roeder, and was married March 9, 1896, to Solomon Fox, who preceded her in death May 13, 1957.  She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church at Woodland, a past president of the Ladies Aid of the church and a member of the Birthday Circle at Wyatt.

    Surviving are three sons, Clarence and Earl of Wyatt, and Clayton of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and one daughter, Mrs. Ada McKinley of Kalamazoo.  There are seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock C.S.T. in the Woodland church with the pastor, Rev. John Theis officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
