Madison Township Resident is Dead
Mrs. Martin Phillip Fox, aged 52, of rural route No. 2, Bremen, a lifetime resident of Madison township, died at 2:45 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in her home, following a 10 weeks' illness. Mrs. Fox was born June 7, 1887, in Madison township, and was married in Woodland on July 1, 1905, as Miss Jennie Adella Wordinger to Mr. Fox, who survives. Besides her husband she leaves three sons, Delbert Fox of Mishawaka, and Warren and Wayne Fox at home; a daughter, Elsie Fox, at home; five brothers, Edward Clyde Wordinger, Jesse Wordinger and Buford Wordinger, all of Osceola, Ralph Wordinger of rural route No. 1, North Liberty, and John Wordinger of Edwardsburg, Mich.; and three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Smith of Mishawaka, Mrs. Pearl Hull of South Bend, and Mrs. Viola Townsend of Osceola. Mrs. Fox was a member of the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church, Woodland, and the Ladies' Aid society of the church. The body may be viewed in the residence from tonight until 2 o'clock, daylight saving time, Saturday, at which time a short prayer service will be held there. At 2:30 o'clock, also daylight time, services will be conducted in the Zion church by the Rev. Phillip Pobanz, pastor. Burial will be in Bremen.
